Hill Top, Bathroom

The Brief

To convert the clients ensuite that was split into two spaces into one large space. to maximise the space better and the wish list was to still have a shower but the additional of a full bath. My client wanted something traditional with a contemporary feel.

What We Did

We created a couple of schemes with mood boards one was a contemporary asian inspired and the other was traditional. Once the client decided which scheme, we then selected all the colour schemes, sample materials and came up with some visual renders to help the client to visualise what it would look like. There were certain elements that needed to be considered - the current shower position, drainage, underfloor heating and overall layout needed to be reworked. Removing the internal shower wall was key to ensure everything would fit and with space and ease. It was also important to have some storage too, which was the purpose of the freestanding vanity unit. Adding a blend of different materials thought the use of treated softwood in the panelling, ceramic textured tiles to work with the underfloor heating as well as a featured wallpaper and paint specifically for bathrooms. Having the mixtures of textures and finishes has helped to pull the overall scheme together. Utilising our premium service to take away the stresses and managing multiple trades, we took the weight of this away enabling them to focus on their day to day business.
